I’m doubling down on the AI studies I started in 2025 and turning them into hands-on applications that measurably improve the quality of life for my fellow engineers.

Work focus

I’m focused on implementing AI engineering workflows (going beyond prompting): shared context, clear rules, and plan-first execution – so the output involves fewer PR revisions and less discarded generated code.

I’m not “vibe coding”. I’m building repeatable, reliable systems.

Side project

I built DeepR after Microsoft’s AI Diagnostic Orchestrator (MAI-DxO) piqued my interest (described in The Path to Medical Superintelligence). It’s my take on a council-style workflow where different models play defined roles—plan, investigate, critique, synthesize—so conclusions earn trust instead of just sounding confident github.com/mehigh/deepr (its name is a tribute to Satya Nadella’s demo).

Life

I’m playing padel and deliberately going out of my comfort zone with sports.

My favorite time of day is taking in the sun in the garden with a good book.
